Fall Semester General Meetings will be held in Wallace 244 at 7pm every Wednesday!
Our general meetings are lead by the President, Lauren Schlenker, and the officer(s) in charge one of our upcoming events. We also go over a few housekeeping items, such as dues, surveys for upcoming events, etc. The events HMA puts on require hours of preparation, both in the kitchen or crafting for decorations. Before any event, we will send out a Google Docs page for members and HTM students to sign up for different prep days. We love collaborating with members, old and new, so please do not hesitate to throw out a great idea for one of our upcoming events!
We always have free food for you to enjoy at every meeting. So munch-on while we talk about our upcoming events and guest speakers!
Along with planning our trips and events, we scout local F&B or hospitality businesses to guest speak during our meetings. We will post on Facebook and Twitter in advance to let our members and fellow HTM students know of these meetings. These meetings are very popular with our members because we get to ask questions to real businesses owners.
